CSS are solid fuels obtained from non-hazardous waste, prepared to be sent for energy recovery in incineration or co-incineration plants, meeting the specifications and classification provided by the UNI EN ISO 21640:2021 standard. The SCA Laboratory is ACCREDIA accredited and is able to analytically support its customers by researching a wide set of parameters including Mercury, Chlorine, PCI, Ash, Moisture, Density, CHNS elemental analysis, Metals and Size, etc. Main activities in this regard include:

• sampling in accordance with UNI EN ISO 21645:2021
• analysis and classification of secondary solid fuels CSS according to UNI EN ISO 21640:2021 and UNI/TS 11553.
