Risk assessment is not only one of the main obligations of every Employer (art.li 17, 28 and 29 Legislative Decree 81/08), but it is also the fundamental tool that allows to identify prevention and protection measures and to plan their implementation, improvement and control.
In order to carry out the risk assessment of a work reality, it is necessary to identify all the hazards associated with the activity carried out and quantify the risk, i.e. the probability of each hazard turning into harm.
